West of Kin has got to be one of the best kept secrets in Melbourne’s west. Coming from the east, it was a great 35 minute drive exploring the great offerings on the other side of the West Gate Bridge.
These guys have got it sorted. Its a great industrial conversion down a quiet street. And, the food is incredible; not only well presented, but the flavour combinations are fantastic.
I tried the Korean pulled pork burger on a steamed brioche with wonton fries as well as the XO shredded duck with egg noodles.
For those in the west, this is a great local spot, and for those in the east, well worth the journey.
