It’s the 25th anniversary of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, and from 31 March to 9 April, Melbourne will showcase some of its best produce, talent and lifestyle.
Here’s Melbourne Explorer‘s pick of the best things to do:
House of Food and Wine
Tucked down a laneway in Melbourne’s CBD, the House of Food & Wine is just like a real home, with dining and lounge rooms – even a gallery.
361 Little Lonsdale St, Melbourne VIC 3000
Crawl ‘n Bite
Discover the best of Melbourne’s vibrant dining scene with one of 13 unique bar, restaurant and neighbourhood crawls. Each crawl takes you to three of the city’s finest venues in one night for a signature dish and matched drink. Take a guided tour of Fitzroy’s best wine bars, St Kilda’s classic seaside restaurants, or wander through the city’s laneways.
The Duck Crawl
Explore Melbourne’s famous Chinatown on The Duck Crawl, created and hosted by Roy Moorfield. Bamboo House, Tea House and Shark Fin House will each present traditional duck dishes, matched with Victorian pinot noir.
$183 / 3-5 April
