One of the warmest things to do in Melbourne this winter. The National Hotel in Richmond will be lighting the fire and preparing a midwinter banquet to warm Melbournians from the inside out this July.
Spanning six courses, the inaugural Winter Feast will take diners on an immersive trip throughout Asia. Blanketed by the warmth of a wood-burning fireplace, the dinner will please the palette whilst exploring the vast essences of the Orient and beyond, culminating in a perfectly lavish pan-Asian meal.
The six-course set menu will consist of a range of specially prepared dishes highlighting seasonal produce from local producers. Each dish will showcase a variety of tastes and textures gathered from specific areas of Asia, with the meal designed to both capture and balance a variety of flavours from the region.
The Winter Feast will be an immersive celebration of food, an ode to the season and a gathering of old and new friends – subtly lit by the emanating glow of the hearth.
7pm, Thursday 20 July.
Tickets are $45/pp or $95/pp with matched wines.
