George Jones was the first shopkeeper in Coburg in 1841. And, these guys are following that great tradition and offering great food and hospitality in Melbourne’s north west.
I tried the benedict with a unique twist of a potato hash base instead of the boring, stale sourdough. Also got to taste the ‘green eggs and ham’ with matcha/green tea. Delicious.
George Jones offers a great selection of both brunch/breakfast options, as well as dinner and is well worth a visit.
Its a little tricky to find a car park on his main road, but the side streets offer plenty of space.
