More fun than run, the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation’s annual fundraiser Connor’s Run returns for the eighth time this September, with a difference.
No matter where you are, you’re invited to join the fight to beat brain cancer ‘Your Way, Any Day’. That’s right – you can run the 9.6km or 18.8km at your own speed and intervals, or you can create your own challenge! It’s a great way to get your health and fitness up, while also contributing to an important cause and observing social distancing rules as we all do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19. Rope your mates in to raise funds together from a distance all throughout September – get creative about how you’d like to do it!
Connor’s Run has been raising money for paediatric brain cancer research annually since 2013, honouring the life of Robert Connor Dawes, who lost his life to cancer at just 18 years of age. Traditionally, the run takes place from Hampton Beach to Alexandra Gardens, but this year it is wherever you’d like it to be.
Join the fight against brain cancer this September by getting your joggers on for Connor’s Run. For more information: connorsrun.com
